COVID-19: In Rajasthan, the percentage of corona infected is higher

There is a distinct trend of corona virus cases in Rajasthan. The percentage of young people infected here is much higher than the aged people.

State's Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh said, "Of the 1,351 positive cases reported in Rajasthan till Saturday, 62 percent are aged up to 40 years of age, while those over the age of 60 are only 10.88 percent."

He said that out of the total 1,351 corona cases in the state, 826 patients are up to 40 years of age, which constitutes 62 percent. Four children up to one year of age have also been infected.

In total 1351 cases, only seven women aged 70 years have been found to be corona positive, which is only 2.73 percent of the total patients.

Singh said that in Rajasthan the percentage of Kovid-19 patients up to 10 years of age is 5.93. While the percentage of infectives aged 10-20 years is 15.75, the percentage of infectives in the age group of 20-30 years is 22.22, and the percentage of patients aged 30-40 years is 13.59, while the average of patients aged 50-60 years is 11.33 percent, 60- The average age of 70-year-old patients is 8.09 percent, the number of 70-80-year-old patients is 2.48 percent, and the percentage of patients above 80 years is just 1.08 percent.
